Let Us with a Gladsome Mind (VU 234)

Let us with a gladsome mind
Praise our God, forever kind;
Whose great mercies still endure,
Ever faithful, ever sure.

God, with all commanding might,
Filled the new-made world with light;
For God's mercies still endure,
Ever faithful, ever sure.

God has with a gracious eye
Looked upon our misery;
For God's mercies still endure,
Ever faithful, ever sure.

All things living God does feed,
With full measure meets their need;
For God's mercies still endure,
Ever faithful, ever sure.

Let us then with gladsome mind,
Praise our God, forever kind;
Whose great mercies still endure,
Ever faithful, ever sure.

O Master, Let Me Walk With Thee
(VU 560)

O Master, let me walk with thee
In lowly paths of service free;
Tell me thy secret, help me bear
The strain of toil, the fret of care.

Help me the slow of heart to move
By some clear, winning word of love;
Teach me the wayward feet to stay,
And guide them in the homeward way.

Teach me thy patience; still with thee
In closer, dearer company,
In work that keeps faith sweet and strong,
In trust that triumphs over wrong.

In hope that sends a shining ray
Far down the future's broad'ning way,
In peace that only thou canst give,
With thee, O Master, let me live.

Offering & Dedication

Take my hands, O Jesus, let them work for you,
Make them strong and gentle, kind in all I do;
Let me watch you, Jesus, till I am gentle too,
Till my hands are kind hands, quick to work for you.

Anthem - from March 2015

Come Follow Me

By Elly and Steve Kupferschmidt

Come follow me said the Lord
Be at peace within my care.
Be as a child. Show me your need.
Take my hand, and I will lead.
Come, follow me," said the Lord.
Leave your worldly cares behind,
Free as a bird soaring above,
Filled with my forgiving love...

This Is God's Wondrous World (VU 296)

This is God's wondrous world, and to my listening ears,
All nature sings, and round me rings the music of the spheres.
This is God's wondrous world, I rest me in the thought
Of rocks and trees, of skies and seas,
God's hand the wonders wrought.

This is God's wondrous world, the birds their carols raise,
The morning light, the lily white, declare their maker's praise.
This is God's wondrous world. God shines in all that's fair,
In the rustling grass or mountain pass,
God's voice speaks everywhere.

This is God's wondrous world. O let me ne'er forget
That though the wrong seems oft so strong. God is the ruler yet.
This is God's wondrous world: why should my heart be sad?
Let voices sing, let the heavens ring:

Common Blessing

by Don Besig & Nancy Price

Filled with the spirit,
Filled with God's grace,
Filled with the friendship
We find in this place;
Called as disciples, go now in faith.
Jesus will show the way.

Go out and serve Him, serve Him.
Carry His word into all of the world.
Go and serve Him, serve Him.
Go out and serve our Lord.
Go serve our Lord.

Samuel Wesley
1766 - 1837

Well that's all folks....
except for a couple of hymns to see us out to coffee hour...

Precious Lord, Take My Hand (VU 670)

Precious Lord, take my hand
Lead me on, let me stand
I am tired, I am weak, I am worn
Through the storm, through the night
Lead me on to the light
Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home

When my way grows drear
Precious Lord linger near
When my life is almost gone
Hear my cry, hear my call
Hold my hand lest I fall
Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home

Be Thou My Vision (VU 642, 2 verses)

Be Thou my Vision, O joy of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art;
Thou my best thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, thy presence my light.

Be Thou my Wisdom, my calm in all in all strife;
I ever with Thee and thou in my life;
Thou loving parent, thy child may I be,
Thou in me dwelling, and I one with thee.
