Ron wa sen naiens ne Niio
Ron wa sen naiens ne non kwe,
Ron wa sen naiens neh ne ken
Ron wa sen naiens ro ni ha.

Praise God, from whom all blessings flow;
Praise God all creatures high and low;
Give thanks to God in love made known:
Creator, Word and Spirit, One.

Opening Prayer

Ever-living Creator, you are like the sea: Sometimes powerful and endless, sometimes soothing and constant. Let your refreshing presence wash over us as we gather near your waters and wade in the possibilities of life that you offer us this day. Amen.

Jesus, You Have Come to the Lakeshore
(VU 563)

Jesus, you have come to the lakeshore
Looking neither for wealthy nor wise ones;
You only asked me to follow humbly.

R: O Jesus, with your eyes you have searched me,
And while smiling, have spoken my name;
Now my boat's left on the shoreline behind me;
By your side I will seek other seas.

You know so well my possessions;
My boat carries no gold and no weapons;
You will find there my nets and labour. R.

You need my hands, full of caring
Through my labours to give others rest,
And constant love that keeps on loving. R.

You, who have fished other oceans,
Ever longed for by souls who are waiting,
My loving friend, as thus you call me. R.

After confessing we hear...

Words of Assurance

I Am a Child of God
(MV 157, verses 1 & 5)

I am a child of God,
I am a glimpse of God's newest creation.
I am a child of God.
I am a child of God.

I am a song of joy,
I am the moment of jubilation,
I am a song of joy,
I am a song of joy.

Psalm 9 (part 1)
R: Among the peoples everywhere
God's deeds we will declare.

- The Sunday Message -

Prayer Over the Offering

Generous God, we ask that you accept our gifts,
bless them and use them to calm our storms and
create in our communities new, imaginative and
life-giving storms. Amen.

(VU (542)

Kwa wis se wen Ni:io,
Tsi I ion kwa kwe nion,
A kwe kon I se, tah kwa wis,
Son ha tsi wa ni :io.

We give thee but thine own,
Whate'er the gift may be,
For all we have is thine alone,
A trust, O Lord, from thee.

The Lord be with you.
And also with you.
Lift up your hearts.
We lift them up to the Lord.
Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
It is right to give God
Thanks and praise.

O holy, holy holy God, O God of time and space.
All earth and sea and sky above
bear witness to your grace.
Hosanna in the highest heav'n,
creation sings your praise.
And blessed is the One who comes
and bears your name always!

Sanctus and Benedictus
(MV 203)

Great Amen

Amen, amen, O Holy One!

Amen, amen, O Holy One!
Hosanna and Amen!

Let Us Talents and Tongues Employ
(VU 468)

Let us talents and tongues employ,
Reaching out with a shout of joy:
Bread is broken, the wine is poured,
Christ is spoken and seen and heard.
Jesus lives again; earth can breathe again.
Pass the Word around: loaves abound!

Christ is able to make us one,
At his table he set the tone,
Teaching people to live to bless,
Love in word and in deed express.
Jesus lives again; earth can breathe again.
Pass the Word around: loaves abound!

Jesus calls us in, sends us out
Bearing fruit in a world of doubt,
Gives us love to tell, bread to share:
God (Immanuel) everywhere!
Jesus lives again; earth can breathe again.
Pass the Word around: loaves abound!

Let us go forth called to God's holy covenant.
God continues to guide us:
attending to our stories,
healing us as brothers and sisters,
showing us how to live in right relations.

God promises to bless and encourage us on the path of respect.
So go with the peace and promise of God,
the energy of the Spirit of Love,
and the passion of Jesus. Amen
