Good Friday Walk 2004

The 2004 Good Friday Walk took place under partly cloudy skies with cool temperatures. As in the past, the western Lachine group started at the Full Gospel Assembly church on Sir George Simpson and proceeded to Summerlea United, St. Paul's Anglican, St-André-Hubert-Fournet, finishing at Resurrection of our Lord. At each church, readings from the stories of Jesus' last days were presented, progressively, in French and in English.

At Resurrection of our Lord church, the group from eastern Lachine joined for the final readings and hymns, followed by hot cross buns and water in the church basement. An estimated 150-200 people in all participated, including a few from Summerlea and St. Andrew's.

Following are some photos of the western group, as they made their way from church to church. You can pick on the photos to see a larger version. To return here, pick Back on your browser.
