Lucy Richards Celebrates Her 99th

On Sunday March 20, 2005, the congregation enjoyed a birthday cake in celebration of
Lucy Richards' 99th birthday the previous Thursday. At the coffee hour after the morning service the cake was on display and the congregation sang a rousing "Happy Birthday" before Lucy blew out the candles (with some help from some young friends) before the cake was cut for all to sample. On Sunday March 13 it was announced that Lucy Richards would celebrate her 99th
birthday in the coming week. In honour of this event, Lucy was asked to present the
Grace United Bowling Trophy to Caroline Legault*, the most joyful player in the Summerlea
