Summerlea's traditional June congregational board meeting
took place at the home of the Rev. Scott Patton in Beaconsfield.
Although showers were forecast, some forty folks found their
way to the new minister's house, pot-luck goodies and lawn
chairs in hand.
After a brief meeting, which included approval of a new oil
tank, all tucked in to the pot-luck supper, and the rain held
off while folks enjoyed the food, drink and fellowship.
A very pleasurable event, for which we give praise and thanks
to Scott and his partner Ron for making their home available,
and for providing refreshment as well as cleaning up after
the hordes went home.
The snap shooter was at one end of the assemblage, so folks
near by are more visible in the photos below than are those
at the far end. Them's the breaks!
