Summerlea United Church Bazaar 2025

Saturday, November 15

This Saturday past saw yet another Successful Summerlea Fall Bazaar! Convenor Jane Cowell-Poitras was able to give us a preliminary result, bearing in mind that some bazaar goods are still being sold. So far though, $16,200 has been confirmed! Congratulations and thanks to Jane and the many, many hands that were behind the success this church/community event.
Now have a look at some of the pictures of the day.

As soon as you enter the hall you are met
on your rightn by a selection

of all unique gift baskets prepared
and assembled by our own Susn H.

And on your left is the popular
jewelery table.

The knitters, sowers and handicrafters filled

A long table to overflowing.

That the Bake Table

was a popular destination

was quickly evident!

The Country Store was well stocked with Scotch pies, Bagels and Home-Made Jellies, Jams, Chillies & other Goodies.

Two handmade colourful afghans and

a beautiful quilt were very successfully

raffled off.

- St. Andrew's Hall became the Hall of Tempting Treastures for the occasion. -

A break from shopping or selling

was available with rolls and

homemade chilli and open to all
for a modest price.

The Book Sale, running over two days was, as usual, a big draw.

A quiet sanctuary was the

minister's office. Phew!
