You, Lord, Are Both Lamb and Shepherd
(VU 210, verse 3)

You, who walk each day beside us,
Sit in power at God's side.
You, who preach a way that's narrow,
Have a love that reaches wide.
You, the everlasting instant;
You, who are our pilgrim guide.

Call to Worship

Blessed are you children of God!
We have come, called by the Holy Spirit.
And you are here!
We come to worship together and praise
God for what we have.

This is Reign of Christ Sunday
Praise be to God.

God Who Gives to Life Its Goodness
(VU 260)

God who gives to us our freedom,
God who blesses tool and toy:
Teach us now to laugh and praise you,
Deep within your praises sing,
Till the whole creation dances
For the goodness of it King.

God who fills the earth with beauty,
God who binds each friend to friend,
God who names us co-creators,
God who wills that chaos end:
Grant us now creative spirits,
Minds responsive to your mind,
Hearts and wills your rule extending
All our acts by Love refined.

Prayer of Confession

We come to God asking for his gracious forgiveness
for our shortcomings, whatever they are
Whatever we did.
We sometimes cause suffering without knowing it
To those around us, family members,
Friends, coworkers or perfect stangers.
But all, are our brothers and sisters.
We sin and we regret it.
Forgive us, Eternal and loving God.

O for a Thousand Tongues to Sing
(VU 326)

Oh, for a thousand tongues to sing
My great Redeemer's praise,
The glories of my God and king,
The triumphs of God's grace!

Jesus! the name that charms our fears,
That bids our sorrows cease;
'Tis music in the sinner's ears,
'Tis life, and health, and peace.

He speaks, and, listening to his voice,
New life the dead receive,
The mournful, broken hearts rejoice,
The humble poor believe.

Hear him you deaf; you voiceless ones,
Your tongues again employ;
You blind, behold your saviour comes,
And leap, you lame, for joy.

My gracious Master and my God,
Assist me to proclaim,
To spread through all the earth abroad,
The honors of your name.

-- Anthem --

Majesty

(By Jack W. Hayford)

Majesty, worship His majesty;
Unto Jesus be all glory, honour and praise;
Majesty, kingdom authority,
Flow from his throne unto his own;
His anthem raise...

Offertory Hymn:

All That We Have

All that we have, all that we are we offer
here today;
To bring good news of hope and joy to
cherish on the way.
To feed the hungry, heal the sick, and
set the captives free;
To build a world where love is lived,
proclaiming liberty.

Deep in Our Hearts
(MV 154)

Deep in our hearts there is a common vision;
Deep in our hearts there is a common song;
Deep in our hearts there is a common story,
Telling Creation that we are one.

Deep in our hearts there is a common purpose;
Deep in our hearts there is a common goal;
Deep in our hearts there is a sacred message,
Justice and Peace in harmony.

Deep in our hearts there is a common longing;
Deep in our hearts there is a common theme;
Deep in our hearts there is a common current,
Flowing to freedom like a stream.

Deep in our hearts there is a common vision;
Deep in our hearts there is a common song;
Deep in our hearts there is a common story,
Telling Creation that we are one.

Go now
At work, at your residence, at your leisure activity,
in your social groups,
Go now and bring the word of God.
Be a living proof of God's love.
We go, eager to reflect the love of a God who
loves us all.

Go!
We go, bringing peace and joy wherever we go
and to whomever we meet.

Go!
We leave this place with joy and happiness,
ready to share it with all.

Amen. You are loved, you are important,
you are necessary to this world.
