This special service sees Summerlea welcome the Scouting & Guiding movement and there various groupings to the special service during which the different groups make their Promises. Each year this coincides with our Pancake lunch to honour the groups and their promises and also to mark Shrove Tuesday marking the ending of the pre-Lenten season. This service was not recorded or reported on as I was in the kitchen helping in the preparations for the Feast that follows this annual service. I did manage to slip out twice to snap a few pictures of the occasion. |
