Call to Worship

Sometimes we are broken, ill,depressed, or lost. Our God cares for us and comes to help through Doctors and care givers. It is difficult to accept help but still, there is help available. We come to pray and worship our God of Hope. May we talk about all the aspects of our health, and Worship God together. God sees us and lends his powerful arm to save us. May it be so! Amen. Opening Prayer

Blest Be the Tie That Binds (VU 602) Blest be the tie that binds Our hearts in Christian love; The unity of heart and mind Is like to that above. Before our Maker's throne We pour our ardent prayers; Our fears, our hopes, our aims are one, Our comforts and our cares.

We share each other's woes, Each other's burdens bear; And often for each other flows The sympathizing tear. This glorious hope revives Our courage on the way; That we shall live in perfect love In God's eternal day.

Words of Regret We would like to be perfect, but we are not. We could be more careful with the words we say More gentle with the judgements we pass More open to welcome those who are different from us. It is not easy. But it is possible through faith and goodwill. May God help us in our journey to become as perfect as possible. Amen! And... Words of Assurance.

May the God of Hope Go with Us (VU 424) May the God of hope go with us every day, Filling all our lives with love and joy and peace. May the God of healing free the earth from fear. Freeing us for peace, both treasured and pursued. May the god of love keep our commitment clear To a world restored, to human life renewed. R.
