2024 Summerlea Fall Bazaar

To get the ball rolling, convenor

Jane Cowell-Poitras
says a few words and concludes
with a short prayer.

And we're off!!

By the end of day (14:00h) over $15,000.00! in support of the church was in the coffers with more expected to come as the leftovers are sold off over the coming days.

Thanks to all who worked, donated goods, worked at setting up and taking down, contributed crafts & home cooking, donated books and collectibles, manned the tables and shopped!!

And to all the unsung heroes: Thank You!

Sheila mans (sorry, Womans)
the ever popular Jewelry Table.

Susan H. works, again(!), her magic

with her Christmas Gift Baskets from $5 to $30.
We don't know how she does it!

Knitwear and Hand Crafted goods

of all descriptions abound

on the Craft Table.

This gorgeous afghan is being
raffled off.

Just look at that Bake Table!!

No wonder that by 14:00 there

were only a few crumbs

left over!! (No Joke)

Always a hit, the Country Store

was busy, busy selling homemade jams,
jellies & preserves

and the candy choo-choo trains,
the Muirs Scotch pies and the bagels

were flying off the tables.

It takes many elves to

bring about such a production

but I caught Undeg & Marion

lollygagging in Acadia Hall.

St.Andrew's Hall was home to fine glassware, dinnerware, collectibles and other varia.
The scouts & guides were there too selling their famous cookies.

The Book Sale, always a big draw,

was held over three days this year.

Richard & Frank Prepare the ever popular
Hot Dog Stand on the crisp & sunny day
