Bazaar 2023


As in other years, the annual fall bazaar is a BIG Summerlea fundraiser helping to "Keep The Lights On" so Summerlea can continue to be a vibrant presence in the community. Many, many thanks are due to all the volunteers in the comgregation that cheerfully donate their time & talents to this mission.
And, of course, to all those community members who come and enjoy the friendly atmosphere and get in some of their Christmas shopping!

Gift packs that sell for from $5 to $25 are all uniquely different and make a great gift.




A mere step away from the gift packs was the jewelry stand!


 
Handicrafts-R-Us!

There was a veritable cornucopia of hand-crafted goods was on display for sale for that special gift.










Beautiful hand made quilt for raffle!
Tickets selling for

3 for $10 or $5 singly. On sale there or after services in church or at the office.

A Perennial Favourite: The Bake Table!
The goods all sell likehot cakes in spite of the fact
there are NO hot cakes!!






At the Country Store were preserves & jams & fresh bagels & Summerlea meat pies & Muir's Scotch pies and ....
Wow...






St. Andrew's Hall was completely
given over to 'Tempting Treasures:'
silverware, delicate china, glasswares and so much more!














Hungry? Say no more. There was steaming, hearty chili & fresh buns!


For those bored with their look there was
FREE face painting in the parlour. Oh my!




Back again this year: the guides with their famous cookies & leaf bags.




A BIG draw every year is the Book Sale - just in time for winter reading!





Alas, an unforgiveable lapse!

I failed to capture pictures of the Three Brave Men who ran the BBQ hot dog stand outside in the cold.
