The Saturday evening entertainment was billed as "a joint venture by the Congregations of
Summerlea United and St. Andrew's Presbyterian Churches, Lachine". The programme was provided mainly by the choirs of Summerlea and St. Andrew's together with a few outside helpers, under the direction of Connie Osborne (Summerlea organist and choir director), Darryl Macdonald (St. Andrew's Pastor) and Lucia Williams (St. Andrew's organist and choir director). The programme included vocal and instrumental music plus several exerpts from "In the Woods" by S. Sondheim and "The Epic of Roberta Oglethorpe" by Dr. Tom Lysol. Altogether a wonderful evening of entertainment - our heartfelt thanks to all who participated. |
